Refund Policy

30-Day Money-Back Guarantee

Every Clear View VPN plan comes with a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you're genuinely not satisfied with the service, contact us within 30 days with a valid reason and we'll review your refund request. One refund per customer. Fair use conditions apply — see full details below.

1. Eligibility

You are eligible for a full refund if all of the following conditions are met:

  • You request the refund within 30 days of your initial purchase date
  • This is your first purchase with Clear View VPN (one refund per customer, per payment method, per household)
  • Your account has not been terminated for a violation of our Terms of Service
  • The account has not been used in a manner we reasonably consider to be abusive (see Section 6)
  • You provide a valid reason for your refund request so we can improve our service

The 30-day guarantee applies to all plans: Monthly, Quarterly, and 18-Month.

2. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund:

  1. Email us at [email protected] from the email address associated with your account
  2. Include your account email and the reason for your refund request
  3. We may ask follow-up questions to verify your identity and understand the issue

We aim to review and process all eligible refund requests within 5 business days. We reserve the right to request additional information before processing a refund.

3. Refund Processing

  • Approved refunds are processed back to the original payment method used at checkout
  • Depending on your bank or card provider, it may take 5–10 business days for the refund to appear on your statement
  • You will receive an email confirmation once the refund has been processed
  • Your VPN account will be deactivated immediately upon refund approval
  • Any data associated with your account may be deleted as part of the deactivation process

4. After the 30-Day Period

After the 30-day guarantee period, subscriptions are non-refundable. However, you can cancel your subscription at any time to prevent future charges. Your access will continue until the end of your current billing period. No partial or pro-rated refunds are available for unused time within a billing cycle.

5. Renewal Refunds

If your subscription renews and you did not intend to continue, contact us within 7 days of the renewal charge and we will review your request. Renewal refunds are granted at our discretion and are not guaranteed. We strongly recommend cancelling before your renewal date to avoid unwanted charges.

6. Abuse, Fraud & Exceptions

We reserve the right to decline, limit, or revoke refund requests in the following circumstances:

  • The account was used in violation of our Terms of Service
  • The refund request is made after the 30-day period (for initial purchases) or after 7 days (for renewals)
  • The customer has previously received a refund under this policy (one refund per person, per payment method, per household)
  • We detect a pattern of repeated sign-ups and refund requests across different accounts, email addresses, or payment methods
  • Excessive or unusual bandwidth consumption during the refund period that indicates the service was used extensively before requesting a refund
  • The account was created using fraudulent, stolen, or misleading payment information
  • Chargebacks or payment disputes are filed simultaneously with, or instead of, a refund request
  • The refund request appears to be part of a coordinated abuse scheme
  • The customer provides false or misleading information during the refund process
  • Multiple accounts are linked to the same individual, device, or household

We take refund abuse seriously. Accounts involved in refund abuse may be permanently banned from using Clear View VPN. We reserve the right to pursue recovery of any losses incurred, including through legal means where appropriate.

7. Usage Review

As part of the refund review process, we may examine aggregate account usage data (such as total bandwidth consumed and connection frequency) to assess whether the service was used in good faith. This does not include monitoring specific browsing activity, which is never logged in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Accounts showing significant usage during the refund window may be subject to additional review.

8. Chargebacks & Disputes

If you file a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or card provider instead of contacting us directly, we reserve the right to suspend your account immediately and contest the chargeback with all available evidence. Filing a chargeback for a legitimate charge may result in a permanent ban from our service. 9. One Refund Per Customer

The 30-day money-back guarantee is strictly limited to one refund per person, per payment method, and per household. If you have previously received a refund from Clear View VPN — regardless of the account, email address, or payment method used — subsequent purchases are not eligible for the money-back guarantee. We use reasonable measures to detect linked accounts.

10. Cancellation vs. Refund

Cancellation and refunds are separate processes. You can cancel your subscription at any time to stop future billing, but cancellation does not automatically trigger a refund. If you wish to cancel and request a refund, you must contact us directly within the eligible period. Your VPN access will remain active until the end of your current paid period if you cancel without a refund.

11. Cooling-Off Period (UK Consumer Rights)

Under UK consumer regulations, you may have a 14-day cooling-off period for online purchases. By using the service before this period ends, you acknowledge that you are requesting immediate access and agree that this may affect your statutory right to cancel. Our 30-day money-back guarantee exceeds this statutory minimum and is offered as a goodwill measure, subject to the fair use conditions outlined in this policy.

12. Modifications to This Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. The policy in effect at the time of your purchase will apply to your refund request.
