Step 1: Download the Clear View VPN App
Open the App Store on your iPhone — the blue icon with a white letter "A", usually on your home screen.
In the search bar at the top, type Clear View VPN and tap Search.
Tap Get next to the Clear View VPN app, then tap Install. You may need to confirm with your Face ID, Touch ID, or Apple ID password.
Once the download is complete, tap Open — or find the Clear View VPN icon on your home screen and tap it.
Step 2: Sign In to Your Account
When the app opens for the first time, you'll see a sign-in screen.
Enter the email address and password you used when you signed up for Clear View VPN. Then tap Sign In.
If you haven't signed up yet, tap Create Account and follow the on-screen steps. It takes about two minutes.
Step 3: Allow the VPN Configuration
The first time you connect, your iPhone will ask for permission to set up a VPN profile. This is completely normal — it's just iPhone checking that you know what you're doing.
A box will pop up saying something like "Clear View VPN would like to add VPN configurations."
Tap Allow.
You'll only see this message once. After that, the app remembers your permission.
Step 4: Press the Big Connect Button
You're almost done.
On the main screen of the Clear View VPN app, you'll see a large button in the centre. It might say Connect or show a power symbol. Tap it.
Within a few seconds, the button will change colour and you'll see the word Connected. A small VPN icon will also appear in the top-left corner of your iPhone screen.
That's it. You're protected.
Step 5: Choose a Location (Optional)
By default, Clear View VPN connects you to the fastest available server automatically. Most people never need to change this.
But if you'd like to connect through a specific country — for example, to access content from another region — tap Choose Location on the main screen. Scroll through the list, tap the country you want, and press Connect. Done.
How to Know It's Working
When your VPN is active, you'll see two things:
- The status in the Clear View VPN app will say Connected
- A small VPN label will appear at the top of your iPhone screen
